Starry Night · Family care desk

Terms

Effective October 24, 2026. These terms cover the Parent Binder, client binders for professionals, and the optional monthly updates ("the service"). "We" means Starry Night, a sole proprietorship run by Nick, 201 N MacArthur Dr, West Lafayette, IN 47906. "You" means the person who orders.

1. What the service is

You send us copies of documents about a person you help care for, usually a parent: medical records, medication lists, Medicare or insurance statements and bills. We organize them into a binder in which every item cites the page it came from. We also point out where documents disagree, work out deadlines from published rules, and draft a letter to a billing office for you to review when a bill looks wrong.

2. What it isn't

3. Accuracy

The binder is prepared with AI and checked by software and a person before delivery. Documents can be incomplete, hard to read or wrong, and we can make mistakes. That's why every item cites its page: please check anything important against the page before relying on it. Deadlines are worked out from the date on the notice and the rule we cite; if the notice prints its own deadline, the notice controls.

4. Your part

5. Price, payment and refunds

6. Timing

We aim to deliver within 2 business days of having both your files and the permission in section 4. If a pile is large or unclear we'll tell you the new date before it passes.

7. Your information

Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and how you or your parent can see or delete it. It is part of these terms.

8. Limits

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren't responsible for decisions made using the binder. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

9. Changes and contact

If we change these terms we'll post the new version here with a new date; the version in effect when you order applies to that order. Indiana law governs these terms. Questions: nick@starrynightops.com.
